Something rather fishy about this New Year!

I’ve not posted here for awhile ‘cos I’ve not had anything truly awesome to contribute.  But then the New Year hit and lookie, lookie:

This celebration takes place about 2 hours from my home.  I’ve never been.  It all seems a bit too frightening to me.  Think about it.  A giant fish, diving out of the sky toward waiting crowds of drunken people.  Why would you purposefully expose yourself, let alone children to THAT?  I think it is a sign of the Appocolypse!
